Too often, when people pass away, the impact their lives made are locked away in the hearts and minds of those sitting in the pews. Once the funeral is over, those memories, stories and remembrances are lost for all time. Never again will that wealth of knowledge of that particular life be assembled in one location.

With Treasured Memories System the church has an opportunity to capture this knowledge. These stories, heartfelt encouragements, and fond remembrances bring great comfort to a grieving family and communicate how much the church family collectively cares. The Treasured Memories format gives everyone an avenue to express their precious memories, in a tangible way, without the fear of speaking in front of a crowd. These will be priceless keepsakes to be read over and over agin for generations to come.

One mahogany finished treasure box
Engraved brass nameplate
50 Treasured Memories cards
Two DVD sessions on Death and Grieving by Dr. H. Norman Wright

How does it work?

Purchase the Treasured Memories system at this time to have it available pending an upcomng funeral. We will ship your order but it will not include the brass nameplate.

Prior to the funeral:

Contact us with the name of the deceased. We will engrave the brass nameplate with the following:
In Loving Memory of
Name of the deceased
Courtesy of your church name
We will ship the nameplate to you along with another Treasured Memories System in preparation for the next funeral.

At the viewing and funeral:

Display the treasure box and provide a card for each attendee. On these cards, people will write memories, stories, prayers, or words of comfort thereby preserving the legacy of the deceased.
When complete, cards are deposited in the treasure box.
At the graveside, the minister presents the treasure box to the family.

Follow up visit after the funeral:

Member(s) of the ministerial staff or grief recovery team deliver and attach the brass nameplate and present the DVD and book. This provides an intentional visit following the funeral to minister to the family
